Cell Phones & Plans - March 2007

My limit was £25 and these phones were going for well over £35 AND you have to pay postage on top AND there's no credit on it. Thing is I found out you can buy these phones on the Phones4U website on PAYG (O2) for £29.95 (but you need to buy £10 credit to qualify - no biggy) Don't these punters do their homework?????

Will cingular charge me if i use my Yahoo Messenger that is on my cellphone to chat over the internet? if so how much? if not what about Aim, and Msn that is also on my cellphone, are they free ?

I currently have a Treo in the US and will move to Europe soon. What would you recommend. I'm more interested in photos and keeping contacts. Mapping and internet use are also important. I'd also like to check email. I guess listening to music and watching television are the two things I really don't care about.

I will be using it mostly in Paris and sometimes in London.

Hello, I am looking for a good Cingular phone that has the following capabilities and such:

1.It works (as far as reception and stuff like that) very well.
2.It has a really good camera
3.It can play mp3's.
4.It is durable
5.It isn't really high priced

well my friend has one and she wants to move her pictures to her computer.
i was trying to help her and she said she had an USB cable but the one end of the cable connects to the phone but the other end, she said, was just circular so she can't connect it to the computer. So I looked for a memory card slot but coudn't find one either. not even under the battery.
How do you do it?
do you have to email every single picture?
there's gotta be an easier way to do it

What do you think of the comunication down, Today? And what do you think about them joining At&t , Bellsouth?So does this mean your home phone and cell will both go down when they have a problem? Well it did today! That totally sucks to have no phone. This just freaks me out for nothing to work for 3 hours. What about the people that needed 911 ? They couldnt call them even. Sorry to rave but they need to do something about this. Maybe they bit off more than they can chew with adding Bellsouth and At&t.

I'm not too big on texting, but the 10 cents per text is annoying. Are there any verizon wireless texting plans that cost about $5? It doesn't have to be unlimited, but I would like to be able to text to out-of-verizon phones with out an additional cost.

I don't want to buy a USB plug that I'm never going to use again and whenever I try to send it through text messaging, Sprint wants me to buy Picture Mail for $5.00/ month. I know I'm never going to need to do this again, is there any other way to do it?

If you already have service with a cell phone carrier like Cingular and you get tired of the phone you have, can you buy a phone off Ebay and just switch the SIM cards? Or is there something else you have to do?

Ok im planning on getting a new phone plan and it between Verizon and T-Mobile. Which service should I get for the Next 2 years? now verizon has 450 minutes and T-Mobile have 300 minutes including the fav five. I dont know which have the best services.how much are their Texting and Pictures. Help I really dont know which company to get, and I go Tonight to get my phone.
