Cell Phones & Plans - March 2007

I have a Verizon LG vx6100. I find the call quality to be quite poor. I had them test it at the store but they couldn't find anything wrong with the sound quality. I am starting to wonder if my hearing is going, but I don't get the "muffled sound" with the landline phones at work (I don't have one at home). I constantly have to ask people to repeat themselves.

Anyway, I have researched the sound quality of this phone online and it's gotten mixed reviews from "very good" to "poor." Could one particular phone, as opposed to the whole model, have poor sound quality? If so, how can I get Verizon to replace it and what should I replace it with. I need good sound quality since this is my only phone. Thanks!

Ok I got my new phone today and before I activated it i accidently locked it so the whole last four digits of your phone number doesn't work 0000 doesn't work 1111 doesn't work 1234 doesn't work. taking out the battery and also turning it off doesn't either, I really don't wanna go in there like the rep suggested any ideas?

I recently broke my sony ericson z500a cell phone. I am now out looking for a very cheap cell phone with a QWERTY or full keyboard thats compatible with cingular. And when I say cheap..I mean about 50 bucks...HELP!!

All cellphone company's try to rip you off. Verizon I know makes you pay a deposit up to $1000 and I'm not really into that although I really like the Idea of in-calling. What do you have, what is your monthly bill and what was your activation fee?

I dropped my cellphone in the toilet today and every button on it stopped working. I have no insurance on it. Some of the button starting working again after it dried out some but not all of them.

A few days ago I dropped my LG AX5000 on pavement. The exterior itself is fine, just a small scratch on the front cover. The antenna is totally fine. However now I can't get any more than 3 bars, and it keeps dropping my calls and people say my voice breaks up when I call. How can I fix this, and get my bars back??? Thanks!

My mom is with Cingular and she had to get a new phone because her other one was tearing up and she was getting a strong signal. Well, she has a new phone which is a Motorola LG and it came with a new sims card. My question is, she still has her old phone which is a Motorola V6 and her old sims card in it. How can she transfer all of her photos, ringtones, etc. from the old sims card to the new one? If anyone has an in depth solution, please let me know. Now I already know about going up to the company and letting them do it so I don't need that advice and if you can't answer, please don't, only if you know how to do it....thanks!!!

Here Are my five reasons to get a cell.
I am going to show my mom.
And hopefully I will be able to get one.
But i have only come up with four reasons. And i need just one more reason on why i should get a cell phone.

Here they are-

1. Safety. [[ 911 calls. last minute stuff ]]

2. Stay in contact with family [[ out and about i can call ]]

3. Can learn more responsibility

4. More conviniet to reach me.

5.idk? Please help. And no mature or cuz everyone else has one. I dont think that is a good excuse.
I am 12. And some of you might think it would be bad for me to have a cell.
But i am a good student and would only use it for emergencies And safety.
I have excelent grades. And am very proud of myself.
But i do belive i should have a cell. Incase anything were to happen.

I am about to upgrade my cellphone in a couple of weeks because my current one is breaking down. Now, my experience has been that Nokias have been the best as far as reception quality and were very user friendly but that was when I first started using a cell phone some 8 years ago or so and Nokia did not make flip phones. Can someone please help with your feedback on a good cellphone as my next one? I want it to be user friendly, great reception quality and if it's got a camera (good quality too). I like the voice dial feature 'cause it's conveninet for when I need to connect quickly and one touch key dial as well. Something hopefully not too bulky but those are the main features that I'm concerned with. I don't care about mp3, itune stuff. Oh yeah, my carrier is Cingular.

Hey!
So I'm trying to get my parents to buy me a cell phone.
How much would it be to add a line? How much is unlimited texting each month? And what other expenses are there besides buying the actual phone? I really love the chocolate phones!!!! What phones look like this but are cheaper? Where can I buy one for cheap? Is that Dominoes thing where you buy a certain pizza and get a chocolate free a ripoff or does that really work? What are your opinions on razars??????
