There is a great possibility that it could still work, provided it wasn't left in the water for days. take out the battery and let it dry. use a blower on low heat(at a distance). I had a friend who dropped his cellphone in the pool but it worked. good luck and hope it would work:)

Yes, I did, take the battery out and let the phone dry out over night, I used my blow dryer, low, cool setting, hold the phone about a foot away from it. Leave it over night. My phone worked in the morning. It lasted for another 6 months.

My cell got wet when I had to rescue my 2 mo. old puppy from frigid whitewater in November, '05. That's another story, but the phone was in my pocket at the time. I took off the battery, unscrewed the antenna (basicaly removed everything I could easily,) and let everything dry in a warm sunny window for a couple days. It was fine, and still works.

Take out the battery and wait a few days. The phone should eventually start working again. My phone was washed twice, and it miraculously survived. If you don't take out the battery, the phone may short circuit.

I work in wireless. Sure it will work if you let it dry completly. If you don't the phone will short out and it'll never work again. :-)

I once left my phone in my pants and accidently washed them. Unfortunately, I could not even get it to switch on again, so be glad you got that far!
