I have a Verizon LG vx6100. I find the call quality to be quite poor. I had them test it at the store but they couldn't find anything wrong with the sound quality. I am starting to wonder if my hearing is going, but I don't get the "muffled sound" with the landline phones at work (I don't have one at home). I constantly have to ask people to repeat themselves.

Anyway, I have researched the sound quality of this phone online and it's gotten mixed reviews from "very good" to "poor." Could one particular phone, as opposed to the whole model, have poor sound quality? If so, how can I get Verizon to replace it and what should I replace it with. I need good sound quality since this is my only phone. Thanks!

You are not deaf, I am also with VZW and signial strength has all to do with it. If you work in an office or building anything can affect the signal of the phone. The muffled sound I get alot. As long as I have a full signal it works fine it when the bars start to drop when the muffled sound takes place. Its not the phone its the service. VZW is suppose to be one of the best out there I know.
