Well, that's kind of hard to answer, it depends on what you want your PDA to do. I can try to list some PDAs that I know info about, if any of them look interesting, Google em' and you can find reveiws from people who actually HAVE the PDA. Also, I can't list EVERYTHING about each PDA, they have too much stuff for me to remember. :P

There's a Palm z22, it was made specifically for people who haven't seen what a good PDA can do. It has a color screen and does basic functions (calandar, notes, ect.). The downside is that it does not have wireless capabilities (nope, no internet). They sell for about $99 brand new.
There is also a Palm Tungsten e2, which is a bit better than the z22. It has everything the z22 has, along with wireless internet and email. They sell for around $150 new (I think).

I personally wouldn't even GET a palm pilot. I would save the money and get a pocket pc! They have all the basic functions of palm pilots, but they're also just like a computer (hence the name) and have many extras packed into them.
For example, I'm saving up for one right now. It's an HP Jornada 548. There are also iPaqs and Casios. Look them up, you might be interested.

You can get fairly good deals and ANY of these PDAs on Ebay, go there and you may save a lot of money!
I'm currently doing that too, but I keep getting outbid. >.<
If you're persistent you'll eventually win an auction. :D

I hope this helped a little!

palm pilot is sooo old.

If you are looking for a phone with Palm Pilot type capabilities (generally referred to as PDA capabilities), then I will recommend T-Mobile Dash. Its smaller, lighter, great features and can hold a 2GB microSD card (30 bucks). I carry my MP3 music, some videos and even podcasts on it so that when I travel, I have everything on the phone (phone, PDA, music, video).

Other choices are Motorola Q (verizon) and Nokia E12 (Cingular), which are both bigger than Dash.
