I was also wondering that if the American iPhone would work in Australia, if it was unlocked from Cingular's network or does would the American iPhone operate on different frequencies to Australia.

I have Verizon and absolutely hate my RAZR V3m. I'll never buy another Motorola phone again. I'm looking for a replacement phone with same if not better features. The camera sucks on the v3m (I know they claim its 1.3 mp but ive used another phone with 1.3mp camera and the pictures were a lot better.

I've never bought a cell phone on Ebay b/c I am worried that it won't work with my current service provider (US CELLULAR). I've heard of TDMA and CDMA and SIM cards and all that jazz.....WHAT INFO do I need to know before buying a phone on Ebay that will work with my SP???

I bought a used and unlocked AT&T LG phone and am using a Cingular SIM in it. I thought everything was working fine until I realized I couldn't download ringtones or graphics, or use any web functions at all. The phone has Mmode which is AT&T's web functions as opposed to Cingular's Media Mall. But I think since cingular and AT&T are now merged, shouldn't the web services be merged also. Is there any way I can fix this problem or am I out of luck? I bought this phone for my younger sister and was planning to give it to her as a birthday present. But now I'm afraid if I give it to her with it's current problems, that she will be disappointed. Any help? Any suggestions appreciated, thanks alot.

Do we omit the zero and replace it with 0063 ?
Do we also add the Manila code "2" ?
So if for example a cell-phone number is 09123526647 in Manila do we replace the "0" with 0063-2 ? Do we add the '2' as well ? yes ? No ? Confused here.
