I would like to purchase and download music cds from legitimate sources. This is primarily because I wish to take the cds to work and listen to them on my computer in my office.

My employer allows us to bring in cds but they must be commercially recorded ones. I work in a high security enviornment so all our belongings are checked through when we enter the workpace.

If I pay for songs, download them onto my harddrive and then burn them to a blank CD-R. how could I prove to my employer that I purchased the music? I would be actually buying the music, but my cds wouldn't appear to be commercial ones Can I get a "proof of purchase" from any of these websites like I-Tunes. so my employer doesn't think I'm bringing in cds with illegally downloaded files on them?

Also, do you have to have an IPOD to be able to buy songs from I-Tunes?

I have an older camera and I want to really get into using it. Is this one ok http://www.ritzcamera.com/product/232040014.htm I thought that a flash meter just metered flash (I have a flash meter, it doesnt give a reading until the flash goes off) but this one looks like it will give ambient readings and flash readings.

What kind of things should I look for in a light meter?

I've connected my dvd to tv using the y,pb,pr component cable and I get the picture but its colors are off, the screen is pink. any ideas?

its not like they take polls or have secret cameras in our house. So how do they do it? I mean, wouldnt i be smarter to relese things on DVD first, cause ppl u cnt wait for the show so theyll buy the DVDs first? I think its for ratings but cant they get ratings based on how many dvds they sell? so my main question is how the get show ratings.

I seem to have lost my USB cable connector to plug my iPod into the computer. Where can I buy a new one? And how much should this typically cost? For example, I looked at it on Best Buy and it was $20! Is this accurate?
Also, I have the Firewire cable, so I don't need that along with the USB (not the whole 2 in 1 thing)...
Also: It needs to be compatible with an iPod MINI
