I want to get PRO as it has brillant gameplay but i heard that it has lots of frame rate problems is there a patch out there and also i dont have a hd i just have normal plasma

On release the ps3 version of the new pro evo did have framerate issues on certain stadiums, whether or not this has been patched now I cannot confirm.

Well mate it is Pro Evo 2008 ;)
I can confirm (after testing myself) that there are pretty much no framerate errors. The TV type would not affect this (unless your TV is faulty) but a nice HD TV does make it look better (along with a HDMI cable)
I think the rumours you may have heard about are online. Even with a good internet connection the game lags pretty bad and can sometimes be unplayable and frustrating. But it's a great game even if you don't play it online.

It does have some issues (Konami themselves had admitted it). It's more a problem in the replays than the actual game, though, and after a while you don't notice it.
It seems to have gotten better since the 2.01 firmware update and Konami are supposed to be working on improving it.
It's still a great game, just a little disappointing for 'next-gen'.

i have pro soccer 8 and i dont have any frame rate troubles i would say that they are just rumeres anyway if there was problems the patch would fix it

i am a long time pro evo player who also hates fifa but in all honesty pes2008 is crap. get your ps2 back out and play pe6 its really that bad.
