On TV they announced you can go to DVT.com to get info about this software, but when I tried it had nothing to do with this . Can anyone tell me about this software?

And where would you put the software?

You have to get a small box that will convert it. Pretty cheap and in any case the US govt is going to give you coupons for it.

No, there isn't any software that can change a conventional (analog) TV so it can receive the new digital TV channels.

There are converters that can change the digital signals to analog ones so you can keep using your old TVs.

For over the air (OTA), TV the government is going to start a coupon program in Jan 2008 so you can buy a couple of them for about $20 each.

Cable companies are required to keep supplying analog signals until at least 2012. Most cable companies will do this by supplying their own converter boxes.

Satellite signals are already digital; there is a converter built into the satellite receiver.

It's www.dtv.gov not dtv.com

Not sure of a software thing but they do make a converter box you can use, i cant find the link but the GOVERNMENT will give you 2 coupons to buy these devices.

u will to get a didital converter box looks like a small cable box not any software
