Which one is the best for it's price? What have you used and not liked?

I'm just researching all my options, and thanks to anyone who replies :)

Hello ppl. I know many people don't bother reading this, but for sound enthusiasts looking to help a novice with a big pocketbook and a desparate need to upgrade his system, I represent a client looking to upgrade his 25 year old system.

He says he wants it to come with a remote control like his TV, Will work with his old speakers he says he loves too much to part with, and wants to listen to the stereo through the sound system.

Low wattage is OK, It will be used to amplify sound from high definition DVD viewing, HD TV, and projecting the video image. All of these components have already been ordered.

He's only after a 7.1 channel amp/receiver, a sub woofer, a tweeter, and 4 simple, medium quality, small speakers to create the surround sound effect. It is my job to find this.

His hope is that it will cost under AU$400 for all this sound equipment, but I told him that the amp on it's own would be more than $400 AUD.

Who is right?

What category of mobiles are worth while?
Basic
Multimedia
Camera
PDA
If one of thes tell the rate slab also between hoe much
and possibily a good phone and rate along with it.

Everyone is always trying to figure out the best phone deals. Many of the top phone companies offer free person to person calling in the same network. If we all had the same network then we can call anybody for as long as we want and pay the very minimum. No more worries about going over minutes and most importantly low phone bills.

This really drives me nuts!!! What could it be that when I use a calling card to call from the US a cellphone in Europe, it sounds like it's ringing to me but the actual cell never rings!! Landline is fine!! Get through on the first shot! Cannot get through with the cell. Any idea??

i just charged my ipod through my computer as the battery was in the orange light. So i charged it and it turned green... didn't u se my ipod for a day and then when i wanted to hear it...it showed the orange light and then after 30 mins. a red light..which means uncharged. But hows that possible? I charged it and the green light also came..and i didn't use it and still the battery fell low? Why?

I have had this problem with a portable DVD player and the DVD Player in My laptop. This has happened with several DIFFERENT DVD's. I will watch about half of the movie, and then it will start skipping and won't stop. If I turn my computer off for awhile, and then put the DVD at the same spot where it had been skipping before, it does not skip, but may skip later in the DVD. Does anybody know what this may be?
