I have a problem with my Minolta Dimage A1 digital camera. All the pictures I take with the flash are all purple (before I reset the camera settings it was even worse: pictures taken without flash but with artificial light would also have a light purple tint). The white balance is on auto, the camera did not take a knock or anything, and I am told that the repair would cost the best part of the price of a new one. Also I live in London, does anyone know a photo shop where they have an interest in helping you rather than just selling you a new camera or telling you to send it off for repair? Many thanks for your help.

On the main screen of the motorazr, there is a small icon in the upper left. It looks like 6 pink triangles, the three on the left point up, and the three on the right point down. Anyone know what this icon means? I just got the phone yesterday, and I can't find this icon in the manual.

That won't go fuzzy and blurry when your trying to take a picture of something moving. Price doesn't matter when your suggesting a camera I would just like to know if there are digital cameras out there like that.

For fun, I have a couple of cool and colorful dial Telephones that I use in spare rooms, and a old 8 track player and some tapes I use to amuse friends, and a old Atari game system I play for kicks because of it's primitive look and a huge LED watch. All of this stuff is courtesy of garage sales, and I dont spend too much as the cheap price is part of the fun!

Anybody else collect the occasional obsolete tech item for amusment purposes?

I've been fooling around with the settings on my new Panasonic upconverting DVD player which is hooked up with an HDMI cable to my Olevia 532 LCD TV. I'm just curious which of the things listed above are the best.

I assume since my dvd player "upconverts" the data that 720p would be better than 1080i?? Any opinions on this? I'm driving myself crazy trying to find the visual differences... lol

As far as the 2nd part of the question... Which one of these color settings is best and what does the 4:4:4 and 4:2:2 mean?

I mean they came out with an even smaller version of the PS2 and now the PS3 is like 6 times bigger than its old version?? As you can tell i know nothing about video games and my dad just got my brother and me 2 PS3s (one to sell).. How much should i sell it for and WHERE?? What the heck is blue ray???? how come my new HD tv sucks compared to my old 15 inch 480 LCD, is it bc my new one is a tube tv? its a samsung, and it puts out 1080i, when i play my xbox 360 it dosent look as good as my old little tv, any one know why?

I'm just asking because I'm interested in buying a CD single from a seller in the UK (obviously, I would download it but it's quite hard to find). I've bought a game from the UK before, not knowing about the PAL programming/configuration and it turned out to be junk here. Would UK CDs be the same thing here?

It turns on, a white screen appears, and then it goes blank, but the music still plays? Is there a way to fix this? Already tried resetting it, didn't work. Any other suggestions? Thanks.
