I mean they came out with an even smaller version of the PS2 and now the PS3 is like 6 times bigger than its old version?? As you can tell i know nothing about video games and my dad just got my brother and me 2 PS3s (one to sell).. How much should i sell it for and WHERE?? What the heck is blue ray???? LOL HELP PEPLE HELP PLEASE!

Ha ha ha ha ha. Your dad made a mistake thinking that you guys can make a bunch of money by selling the extra PS3. Think about it. Ask your dad how many PS3 did he see sitting on the shelf at the store. And ask him why was it so easy for him to walk into a store and buy 2 PS3. Could it be because it's not in high demand so that's why there are so many lying around. Too little, too late.
The best that you can do is maybe 600 bucks since it's easy to walk into a store and pick it up. Just ask your dad.

ps2 get slimmer because it overweight and for new year resolution, it said it lose weight, so it did, so now it slimmer than normal. just joking. ps2 get slimmer because of better technology. as technology get better, hardware get smaller and not make so much heat, so ps2 can get smaller. no need as much space for heat to cool down, so casing get smaller.
you no make profit by selling ps3. very, very easy to walk into store to pick one up, so nobody will buy your ps3 but if you sell for less than 600 for 60 gb, then you have lots of people bidding on it. if you get time machine to turn back time one month, then do it. ps3 sell much, much better in november 2006, than january 2007. sony made boo-boo with terrible launch so no people buy it.
