My 12 year old niece wants to buy my nano from me. She has a history of having things broken on her; Shuffle stopped working, cell phone sim card burned, etc. I'm not sure that it will be cared for. She wants to give me $50 for it. Should I?

Ok you know on screens like the ipod video, if u push on the screen with your finger, it messes it up?? well i had mine in my backpack and i took it out and apparently something had been pushing on the screen with alot of presure, because it cracked the inside of the screen, and it left a dark circle to the right of the screen, when i turn my ipod on, itas all glitchy, like the screen is white with yellow on the side, and where the spot is you can see a black spot.

do i have to buy a new ipod?? or what can i do to fix this??

i DONT have insurance for it.

I just took my iPod out of my laptop back and clicked the select button. I saw that it displayed the Apple logo which it always does when i dont use it for a day or so, but instead of turning on to the menu screen it is just staying on the apple logo. I thought it might just be the battery or something so i pluged it into my computer, but it still stayed on the same logo screen. I left it pluged in for more then 45 minuets now like the support site at apple.com said to but still no luck! please help i have had trouble with iPod's in the past and dont want to have to return it a third time. I have never dropped it on a hard surface (only about 2 inches onto my soft bed) but besides the point I dont want to look like an idiot returning it again. Its an iPod Video Black 5th Gen. HELP!!!
