No it will not. Easy way to tell if the device works on a certain carriers service: Do they sell it? If they don't, then it won't work. Another indicator: If one carrier (Sprint, Verizon, Cingular) sells the device, then another one won't. When a carrier sells a certain device, it is because it has purchased rights to sell that model. Anyway, beyond that, there are certain exceptions to that rule, such as the Moto RAZR, but if it is branded Sprint, Verizon, Cingular, it only works on thier network because each network has its own software loaded into that device (which is what makes that particular phone bring up the "Sprint" or other carrier logo on the screen when it is going through the powering up process) which will also only allow it to work on thier network.

No it will not because the Black Carbon uses GSM technology and Sprint currently only has CDMA deployed there is NO way to make it work by downloading something
