I was thinking of getting the ipod video 30 gb but I have heard good and bad things about it so I need to know if it's a worthwhile thing to buy or if there are suggestions for better video-playing mp3s out there....i just like that it's compatible with itunes and about a million other products...what should i do?

My living room is setup such that all the A/V equipments are facing the side of the room. (there's no TV in front of me, I use an overhead projector). So everytime I have to walk over to the side of the room to change channels, etc. Is there anything out there that can reflect my IR signals 90 degrees?

I have cingular, and I want to get a new phone, but im not sure whether i should get the Cingular 2125 (which i really like) now, or wait until the Motorola Rizr slider comes out. My problem being i dont know if the Rizr is going to be carried by Cingular, and I want a new phone as soon as possible.
