Consumer Electronics - 16 July 2006

For the last week whenever my mum sends a text, her balance remains the same. Any ideas why this is happening? She's on pay as you go with O2 and has a Samsung phone about 2 years old. We've taken the sim card out and cleaned it but it's still the same. Phone calls are deducted from the balance, but not texts. Thanks!

hey guys, need a question answering, i'm going to buy a new ipod, is there a difference in how loud the uk one's go, and the maerican ones, i know on the older generations the USA one's were louder, or so i was led to belive, so just wondering if its worth paying more to get a american one over here and get my music louder, so yeah any answers or opinions would be great, specially off those with uk ones

I've found lots of answers for programs to use with the DVD rom in your computer, but I don't have one. I have a DVD recorder that I bought to put my home moves on DVDs. That works fine. I want to copy my kids DVDs so that we can have a copy in the house and in the car. When I hook the DVD player to the DVD recorder and try to make a copy of the movie, it won't let me, it says "DVD is copyrighted" then it won't record. Well, duh I know it's copyrighted, but it isn't like I want to sell it, it's for my own use for a video I already own.

Is there anyway around this? How can I trick my DVD recorder?

i have a canon rebel xt it does not give me consistant pictures
i have a 430 speedlite flash with a sigma 2.8 lens 24-70mm lens outside shots are fine but indoor shots are horrible i shoot alot of african americans ranging from different colors dark skin usually comes out too dark
what f stop and shutter speed do i need to keep my canon consistant
