hey guys, need a question answering, i'm going to buy a new ipod, is there a difference in how loud the uk one's go, and the maerican ones, i know on the older generations the USA one's were louder, or so i was led to belive, so just wondering if its worth paying more to get a american one over here and get my music louder, so yeah any answers or opinions would be great, specially off those with uk ones

If when you select a track on your Ipod , You go to "get Info" and then click on the info tab.
At the bottom you will find a volume slider . If you move it to the right you will find that the tracks do get a bit louder.
As some one already said though , get a decent pair of headphones .

Nope you all 3 are wrong. I don't know what law it is off the top of my head but there's a law against volume levels for some reason on European iPods. They put something like a governor inside the iPods to keep the volume from going over a certain limit. This in turn brought on several programs to help go around this like euPod, which is a program that will permanently increase the volume on your songs.

They are all same. Both ones have a maximum volume option. It's for parents that don't want kids blasting their ears out. They can set the maximum and password it.

I've got an iPod Nano. (UK). The sound is great. On full volume everyone around you can enjoy your songs too!!!!

should be all standard... why do you want it so loud.. you will damage your hearing permantly silly boy!lol
but if you want to hear it sounding the best it ever will...
treat yourself to a pair of GRADO-S60 headphones.. superb!!
