what exactly does this mean:

"You could have a hidden column that you could use as the sort criteria - i.e. Red = 1, blue = 2, yellow = 3, etc. Pull your sort off the hidden column. This is the only way that I know to make that work."

i know about hidden columns and everything...but i cant figure out the other part about making red = 1 and the sort criteria stuff.

anything to get me on the right track would be awesome.

I'm studying accountancy at Uni and I need the sageline program for the course. How ould I go about downloading it from the computer at the uni.
I'd like to have it for my home computer to make the course a bit easier.
If you could explain in easy understandable terms I'd appreciate it greatly.

I send faxes via fax tools on my computer - do not have an independent fax machine. I do not know how to receive faxes. The software says to make sure fax tools is up (it is) and is set to receive mode (it is) but when my phone rings, it goes to my answering machine (those little irritating beeps) and then hangs up) and no fax is received. I think I know the problem but not sure. I do have a HP56 modem plugged in which I use to send faxes but my Internet server is FIOS. Maybe to receive I have to change the setup of the software to reflect Fios as the modem and not my HP56 modem. If so, I do not know how to do that. Any suggestions. Thanks.

Example: I have two pages with different headings/margins separated by a section break. If I delete the section break, the second page's header and page margins replace the first pages.

How can I delete the section break (and second page), without ruining the integrity of my first page?

I'm writing this from a mobile browser, but a friend is going to give me a computer with MS applications on it, including MS Outlook 2003.

I won't be able to get the internet on the computer for some time. Will I still be able to set up an email account with the Outlook?

What will the address be like, for instance:

Myusername@(what?).(what?).

Not sure if she still has the manual for Outlook; I don't think she does. Any info will be helpful. Thank you!

I downloaded and mounted photoshop as an iso image using daemon tools. During installation, photoshop is asking me to insert disk one. On the daemon website, they say I need a 1:1 copy for daemon tools to emulate a copy protection. What is a 1:1 copy and how do I get it?

My daughter got married about a month ago and we just got the proofs back. They are digital and on cd. I want to upload them to shutterfly and make a hardbound book for her as a gift. The problem is when I try to crop some of the pictures it tells me that it couldnt do it because of a program error. This only happens on good pictures of the bride and groom. Is it possible they have somehow copy righted certain pictures so that I cant make copies or do anything with them? I also tried to up load to walmart photo department and nothing shows up? I am using adobe photoshop. They do not offer the hardbound book I want. And I'm not sure what to do. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

What is wrong with my PC? I've run a virus scan several times and it comes up with no virus but I do get this warning that says if you open with activeX controls, it may damage your computer. I have to click on it because it's the only way to view my pictures and jpegs.

It says this in my AVG Anti-Virus thingy.
(the free edition)

The red hightlighted components are in an error state! Please pay urgent atention to their configuration!
Anti-Virus: Internal Virus Database is out-of-date.

(So does that mean it's not on the Database at all?)
(Does that mean no one can get excess to it?)

what should i do? please help.

ok I am USUALLY pretty computer literate. I have read the answers to this same question, NONE of them work. My taskbar is double its normal size the weindow open on top, quick launch under. USUALLY the double-arrow dragging down to normal size works, but not this time. It either stays the same size, or disappears completely. I am able to move to all sides of the screen, but double the size. Please help it's driving me CRAZY!!

I was trying to watch a video and it wouldnt let me because it said that i didnt have JavaScript on or that i didnt have the latest Adobe so i clicked to get the newer one.
