It says this in my AVG Anti-Virus thingy.
(the free edition)

The red hightlighted components are in an error state! Please pay urgent atention to their configuration!
Anti-Virus: Internal Virus Database is out-of-date.

(So does that mean it's not on the Database at all?)
(Does that mean no one can get excess to it?)

what should i do? please help.

it means that your AVG virus definitions need to be updated, find the option to do an update and get them updated.

When that happens it simply means updating the antivirus definitions. Open AVG select Update manager and click on update. Your antivirus definitions will soon be downloaded and your program will be updated the error state should disappear.

Right click on the Icon and select update. If no Icon, go programs/AVG and open the control panel. At the bottom, select update.

You have to update AVG.

Open the browser for AVG and Click "Check for Updates the press enter"

This might mean that the virus scanner needs updating. or if that doesn't work, uninstall it, then re-install it again. also this might mean that your computer is too old to run this program. (I think it runs on XP and Vista only)

if none of those work, look in the help forums.
