When I forward a joke or a photo through my email to anyone, they get several pages of gibberish, letters???

What is wrong with my PC? I've run a virus scan several times and it comes up with no virus but I do get this warning that says if you open with activeX controls, it may damage your computer. I have to click on it because it's the only way to view my pictures and jpegs.

I receive those all the time and the sender cant figure out what he did wrong either. Have tried everything we can think of too. Hope someone can help you and me.
