what does this mean whether 3 gb of data is going to be transferred per second ?

so 15gb data transfer takes on 5 seconds in SATA ?

I have a PC and downloaded Apple's Safari browser; it works great and faster than Firefox, Opera and of course IE, the only thing is I can not get to play anything that requires Windows Media Player.

i got dell inspiron 1000, brought in uk, i dont have the dump as i got some partition table virus and whole thing got corrupted, as i brought it in uk, i have to goto uk to get a copy of cd, is there any way that i can windows xp software which will work with the key i have? appreciate your answer in advance

I can download music from Limewire and put the MP3s on a disk and play them in the car but I can't upload them to another pc. It says they are copyrighted. Is there a way to decrypt them?

Ok so when i run apache 2.2 web server it gives me a cmd window error that says the Serveradmin takes one arugument, the email address of the server administrator.

I was told to check the httpd.conf file or something but I have no clue where that is and i need to get it up and running in the very near future, i have uninstalled and reinstalled many many times and it does not change anything


PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

I've received my free "Express Upgrade to Windows Vista" for my Dell laptop. I want to install it, but I've heard bad things about Vista - that upgrading with a disc doesn't work, and the Vista is just plain bad, and one should stick with XP. I do a lot of web browsing on my PC, but really the only major program I run is "The Sims 2," and I want to play that. I know that I will have to wipe my hard drive, but I'm prepared to do that. Is it worth un-installing all my virus protection, wiping, and upgrading, or should I stick with XP? Or,. should I sped extra money on a better upgrade? I don't want to aggrivate my parents any more that I have to.

I used Shrink DVD to rip a DVD. It is in the video_ts format. i need to burn it on to a dvd-r/dvd+r, Can Windows Media center Edition get the job done? Or do I have to bo out and buy one of those burning softwares like Nero 7? Any information would be very helpful.

I searched for music programs and got nothing but crap. I have limewire but Im not impressed with it. I want a program like Napster, but that is compatible with Windows Vista and iPods. It doesnt have to be a free program, but I would like one with a monthly or annual subscription. I dont want to pay 99 cents a track, if thats the case I could just buy the CD in stores. Im tired of crappy programs with poor results and broken or junky downloads.

4 weeks ago, I bought a nifty computer from Circuit City. Even after disabling it's Norton security that's so perfect, that it proudly declares that it has successfully stopped all the programs I've tried to load.
Vista upgrades for my new Lexmark All In One printer won't load. Even after running VistaClean.
Also, Vista doesn't like most of my older programs. You know, the ones I absolutely require to pay the rent!

I'm fed up with these bozos, and their crappy products!

But before I give up and file suit, I was wondering if there was anyone out there with a quick fix?

I started downloading a torrent using u toorent. It shows "Done 100%" and status as "Seeding". The expected time left for seeding is 18 hours. Can I watch my movie without waiting for the so called seeding? Or is there any way to speed up this seeding????

I used to have bearshare before and anytime I clicked on a song just being downloaded the same would go directly to my Tunes. That doesn't seem to be happening now..I'm lost..please help!
