u torrent - Completed downloading torrent, it is seeding for last 6 hours?

I started downloading a torrent using u toorent. It shows "Done 100%" and status as "Seeding". The expected time left for seeding is 18 hours. Can I watch my movie without waiting for the so called seeding? Or is there any way to speed up this seeding????

When it is done downloading, you can watch it whenever you want. Seeding simply means that your helping other people download the file, they are getting it from you. You can choose to stop the seeding or continue it, either way you will still be able to watch your movie as long as it says its done downloading. utorrents a great program.

Seeding will continue indefinitely until you remove the torrent from the list.

You can start using the file as soon as it's 100% downloaded.

However, it is recommended that you seed the file until it shows ratio of 1.5 i.e. you've uploaded 50% more of the file than you downloaded, just being nice to the BT community. By default, when you reach 1.5, uTorrent will throttle the upload bandwidth down to 4K instead of whatever max you got it set on.
