I have already removed the programs but their icons remain in Add/Remove. When I try to delete the icon again, it says cannot locate file, but it is still showing that they are taking up memory. One offending icon is AOL. Seems like it is permantly imbedded there.

I'm so frustrated. My boyfriend had saved the MS Word document on a disk which he then carelessly left on the FLOOR. It now has a giant scratch in it. The people at lulu.com are now telling me that I can directly upload my MS Word document... the one that's on the scratched disc that I can no longer bring up. I'm so ticked off because I spent hours and HOURS trying to format this stuff to lulu specifications. Only for my boyfriend to carelessly leave the disc on the floor for it to be scratched. I could wring his neck, I SWEAR. This document has a special format as well, so if you say cut and paste.... and that's all I can do, then give it to me gently. Will I have to spend hours more on this? I'm sick of it.

Using Netscape 4.3 I used to be able to copy and drop a column of email addresses from my Excel spreadsheet into the "to box" and email all those people. Can't get this to work with Netscape 7.2. Any suggestions?

I try to install windows xp on my computer but it says missing files loike the .dll and .sys but i used the same disk after it didnt work with mine and it worked on my friends and then i tried on mine again and it didnt work how come that is can some1 tell me how to make itwork or what is possibly wrong with it

I would much rather have windows xp professional service pack 2, If I request e-machines to make the computers os (as said above) will they and can they do it? Would I have to do this online?, Over the phone?, Or at a retail store that carries the computer model?. Somebody please help me!!!!.

when i play a game the screen is really big and somehow the mouse wont let me go to the selection i want. and my home page in vista home premium somehow everything looks kinda big. anyone tell me how i can make my page look a little bit smaller. thank you.

Does Vista run applications faster?
I don't care about the new 'features' of the operating system. I use XP to run my non-microsoft applications such as Adobe Premiere, Camtasia Studio and PC games etc. Not to mention surfing the net with Firefox.
All I want is a 'container' to run my applications AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.

So I submit to you, will it run my apps faster?

thanx for reading... So when I open my add/remove program, the list does not show all programs. Like I would like to delete a bunch of stuff that came on my computer, ie aol, windows messenger... But they do not show up in add/remove program. I have a hp with windoews xp media center. Thanks for the responses!
