Is there a way to save music as MP3 files from a CD to hard drive using Windows media player?

Yes..you can do it through Windows Media Player (WMP), when u open your WMP..there an option call RIP. just click on it and u can see a very friendly interface...i think there is no problem for you to do it on your own

I don't know but itunes does it and its free
