Does Vista run applications faster?
I don't care about the new 'features' of the operating system. I use XP to run my non-microsoft applications such as Adobe Premiere, Camtasia Studio and PC games etc. Not to mention surfing the net with Firefox.
All I want is a 'container' to run my applications AS FAST AS POSSIBLE.

So I submit to you, will it run my apps faster?

An honest answer - it was designed to, but when I converted I noticed NO change in speed.
You will needs a lot of hard drive space and Ram to run Vista however.

I highly recommend that laptop users should NOT upgrade.

No! If you want a speed boost to your computer, buy a dual processor( I recommend the Intel Core Duo processor). Buy a bigger hard drive(Atleast 200GB is what i recommend. And buy more ram( 2GB ram is king).

NO Vista is a joke and is exceptionally slow, I think it was a joke when it was released.
