I heard you can't install cracked softwares, say for example, I have a cracked copies of games, they say I can't install it. But I doubt it. Is this true?

I'm thinking of purchasing the OEM installer (Home Premium)..


Anybody can enlighten me?

this is for windows movie maker. whenever i insert a picture and view it. it's always centered and doesn't fit the whole screen. i want it to cover the whole screen when you view the movie. how do i make it fit full screen?

I'll type in soemthing very popular and mainstream like "Madonna" and nothing will search. I don't know what I'm going wrong. This is a new computer with windows vista, could that have something to do with it? It also says that "limewire has detected a firewall", but itsn't disabling that bad? How do you disable it then?

Blagh. I've waited like forever to find music and now I got the program and it wont even pop up searches. It just reads like this:

i have the latest version's downloaded for them and they are both on.i try to watch a video at youtube and this is what it keeps saying.

I use Microsoft XP. I am aware that hardware and software exists (sometimes sold together, sometimes separately) with which I can back up my entire computer -- OS, registries, bookmarks, docs, etc. This interests me because I'd rather not have to restore it program by program from original disks-- first the operating system, then all the applications I run. I have dozens of applications that I use regularly, and it would take days to restore everything and troubleshoot until I have them all working together.

I am very careful with security and have firewalls, spybot stoppers, anti-virus, etc. Still, you never know when it will crash and you have to restore from scratch. I probably need > 100 GB.

Please tell me what you use and what you like about it. I don't care if it's a little slow; I want something that is fairly seamless and straightforward. I am willing to work awhile with the setup, but after that's established I want the backup and restore to be easy.

I got some ethernet cards from a friend, they were pulled from working machines. I put it into a newer machine then what they were, but its still way old, its p3 866mhz. Now, I put Linux into the system, but to access the internet I need to have an ethernet hookup. (I previously tried to get a driver when XP was installed, but it couldn't find one.) So, is there a program that can Identify the card so I can find a driver for it? Or how do I get one?
