I heard you can't install cracked softwares, say for example, I have a cracked copies of games, they say I can't install it. But I doubt it. Is this true?

I'm thinking of purchasing the OEM installer (Home Premium)..

Anybody can enlighten me?

Thanks..

windows vista is very secure and requires a high end machine to run properly as far as cracked programs running a few might but most will not i suggest you start by going here and trying the upgrade adviser and see what it says about your comp

First, it's just like the Apple version of the same thing. Second, wait til it's cheaper in a few months, third; wait til they work the bugs out and last, it might not work with your computer. But if you wanna take a look at it, check out your local Best Buy store.

Cr*cked apps or legit, Vista won't run some apps that will run on XP. It's a crap shoot. I have it in a dual boot setup and I will continue to rely on XP for critical stuff for at least a year or so.
