Software - January 2007

I recently purchased and installed Print Shop Deluxe v. 22 and I can't open my address book to input addresses. I can edit my personal profile info, but if I try to open the address book, the initial little box pops up for a split second but nothing happens. I can open my event calendar, but I can't get into the address book through there either. Any ideas?

Does anyone use a program that enables you to print the graph, or uses carbon paper, and gives you the color chart? I'd like to paint in arcrylic if that makes a difference. It's just for personal use, and the paintings make great gifts, and I'd really like to convert some photos of my kids and my sisters wedding. It would cost me a fairly large sum to send all these photos to a company to convert. Thanks for your help! :)

I need to create a powerpoint presentation but am having trouble creating a slide where the bullet points can be scrolled through on a single slide, one after the other, instead of being shown all at once when the slide pops up. I'm using Powerpoint 07', but advice on any version would help greatly.

it was all working fine, then suddenly its stopped it sending and receiving in outlook??
only works if i disable it for few minutes, i have checked and it is an allowed program in the firewall settings

I need to install a couple of device drivers and IE6 on a PC, which does not yet have an internet connection. Therefore, I cannot download them from the internet directly onto this machine.

I have downloaded them using my PC, saved them to the desktop and then copied them onto a CD-R.

I intend to copy the files from the CD onto the other PC's desktop and then install them from there.

I cannot see any reason why this shouldn't work, but I have been around computers for too long, and this all sounds just too easy to be true. :-)

How do you get the Koenigsegg CCX, Lamborghini LP 640 and Pagani Zonda on career mode, for Need For Speed Special Edition? I can use them on normal races outside career mode, but i want to buy them and race them on the open environment, does anyone know how to use them on career mode? Thanks. BTW it's for the PC.

I have noticed that Adaware SE and Spybot S&D won't detect my high risk spyware, keyloggers, trojans, adaware etc, but when I use free trials of popular anti-spywares that arent free like SpyDoctor they detect way more high risk spywares, and Adaware SE and Spybot S&D just detects cookies, trackers etc.

ok, i make videos on my home PC with show biz editing softwear. usually when i am making one i record a few dozen ten second or so clips. after i finish the movie i convert it to WMV and then delete all the clips and empty the recycle bin.

today i was editing a movie and clicked on one of the clpis and was goiong to drag it onto the timeline. except when i did this the clip turned into an "AVI" and a message poped up that said somthing about how the memory limit is too low and untill it is fixed somthings cannot be accsessed or somthing like that.

now, when ever i select a clip it changes to AVI andall i get is the audio no video footage is shown. how cani fix this? what is it?

I recently, stupidly downloaded a file (exe) and ran it .. virus .. now, I presume it deleted some crucial windows file possibly services, because when it starts up it gives the old shutdown message. Somewhat fortunately I have dual boot with linux, and can run the comp with it. Unfortunately, i cannot delete the files that are the trojans (C:\ncbp.exe and C:\iwtxiqxb.exe) it says cannot delete ... i assume i must take it in to be fixed, but was just wondering if i could anyway possible do so myself, and how much a fix like this might cost at a bestbuy / circuitcity... thanks
