I don't care for it, because I lost some functionality when the upgrade was made. When I strung a few videos together and played them, their individual run times weren't displayed in the sidebar, which sucked, and that whole thing about having to take the video out of fullscreen before being able to exit out of it is complete bull$&!t, so I removed it and am keeping with 10.

Yes WMP11 has a lot of sparkle but the problem is once you have installed 11 you cant go back to the older version
windows medi player 11 is great to watch videos on, the music section needs a bit of work i.e the albums can come out with track 1 in a folder and tracks 2-20 in another folder and unlike wmp 10 you can just drag them together on 11 you cant (therefore) i have figured a way around this -that is changing the artist name to various artists
When The 2 folders have been changed this way they will join together then change the name back to the original artist name- this is also a problem with various artist albums (the tracks don't run from 1 -20 but are all mixed up (to get around this again) put into list format and change the name of all various artist names to various artists (it dosen't change anything in the folder )but if you go now into the folder you will see the track numbers now run from 1 to 20

yes media player 11 is worth downloading the look of it and it does alot better then media player 10 ever did.. On ten u didnt have that many options

In my humble opinion: Yes. The much improved media library alone makes it worth the download. Not to mention that it looks a lot better than any previous version of WMP.

I use it only when I have to like for Windows Media content (wmv, wma). Otherwise I use http://www.videolan.org/vlc/
