I would like to be able to download it for free. Does anybody no which sites I can get one from. And one thats not too complicated to use.

I agree with deadman. I use Audacity, and I think it is excellent. It is well worth the download, but if you are wanting to export MP3 files that you have editied, download the add on which is called lame.dll - you will find this file on google without a doubt.

I would suggest Adobe Soundbooth, but it's not free. There is a free 30 day trial with full functionality though, and compared to the rest of the Adobe Programs, (Photoshop, Flash, Premiere Pro, etc.) Soundbooth is pretty cheap - $200 I think. It works a bit like Audacity, but has a lot more features - so it's very easy to use. As for completely free programs, I can't suggest anything better than Audacity.

Audacity is good and its free. Make sure you install the lame encoder as well though so that you can export your files as MP3

Have a look on www.download.com, or buy Nero Gold which comes with a good editor.
