Try OpenCanvas 3 or 4. The trial does run out, but you can still use it. The only thing is, you have to copy what you edited into MSPaint to save it after the trial runs out. Not that horrible, I use that. :)

either get GIMP 2 or go to google and type picasa. its google own image editor you gotta download it no trial full version stryt away its basic but its gud.
