There are monkeys on acid with a subnormal IQ that have written better software.

It is crap.

From what I've read on all the tech forums it is flawed. Ms decided to fix their activeX problems by having their browser block ALL activeX. Their ideas were basically stolen from mozilla and they trumpet tabbed browsing as the newest thing whereas us mozilla users have been using it for years.
It has security flaws, fewer addons than firefox and can't keep up with firefox. IE7 comes out and Mozilla releases Firefox 2 which is superior. IE7 is on the computers at work and I don't like it. Give me firefox anyday.

You only need to do a search on here to see how many people are having problems with IE7. The best thing to do is download Mozilla Firefox available from http://www.mozilla.com/ Its faster, more user friendly, easily customisable to suit your needs and no problems.

IE 7 is a great piece of software to serf to:
http://www.alternativebrowseralliance.com/browsers.html#cross
where You can get Yourself a link for a real browser.

All browsers have cons and pros. IE7 sure has pros. Its biggest pro: it gives ppl the chance to earn points at Yahoo answers :p

Do not miss-understand me, there is nothing wrong with any IE
except: it is insecure, does not support web standards and is a resource hog.

thx for reading my post.

p. .s. It was about time MS updated the browser. But it is no way state of the art. I use more than one browser - each for what it does best & K-Meleon for my system default.

It is rubbish and I had nothing but problems when I downloaded it - they all went away when I un-installed IE7 . It is obviously not ready yet for general use.

I think it's a prety poor copy of Firefox, and will stick with the original and best, rather than something that is three times bigger but still only does the same job.

It's absolute rubbish, takes too much memory in use, is slow, intrusive, & likes to hang for ages.

A poor attempt at playing catch-up to the much better Mozilla Firefox.

Terrible. They threw tabbed browsing into IE6 and slapped on a phishing filter. Personally I stick with Firefox.

used firefox for quite some time now and am trying to have only the essential microsoft programs on my pc. Switch to linux and use firefox and forget about all those windows problems.

It's garbage. Even devoted MS users think it's garbage.

I'm a Firefox fan and it works like a charm.
