how do i get the dvd i burn to work in my dvd PLAYER not my computer, i burn it, it works fine on my comp, but when i put it into my dvd player it doesnt read the disc, how do i get it to work in that darn dvd player, thanks in advance!!

What do I enter in Excel if I want the cell to autopopulate the date for the last working day? So say today is Monday and if I want today's date to show up, I will type =today(). But if I want Friday's date to show up, what formula do I need to enter in the cell? Thanks!

and obviously the pixels weren't right 'cos it came up all blurry. I have tried all theusual ways of deleting it and even tried to put another picture over the top of it but it won't go. Any advice?

I have the free version of Real Player, and I want to make some still and animated avatars, but the video files I want to use are in rmvb format. I tried using the printscreen button, but the computer does something wierd with that... it's hard to describe. I can paste my screen into any imaging program, but it will only show black where the real player window was, and if real player is running, it will actually show the image through that black spot, but only if real media is behind the window. Like I said, it's hard to describe. But is there a program I can use to edit real media video files, or convert them to an mpeg or avi format? BTW- I have dial up and can't afford to buy any software so please only suggest a freeware or demo that is reasonable to download on a 56k modem or a solution that involves changing my pc settings or something. Thnx.

The Internet Explorer 7 icon replaces every icon (to be accurate, is pasted on them) of all files saved on the CDs or DVDs I insert in my PC. It's very annoying, I cannot get any solution.

im just finished making my slides, but im having trouble with the slide transitions. I want my text, pics, sound, everything on each individual slide to show up and run on its own. I just want to be able to click when im ready to go to the next slide. how do i get it to do that????

I used to be completely able to download vids off the internet and put them into my ipod. However, since I'm in Japan right now with a new laptop, I have forgotten which FLv converter I initially used. I already have videora ipod converter and everything in place, but I just need a link to a website that will provide me with the (free) FLV software that I need. All I remember from that program was that when you've uploaded your flv video, there was a button that said 'convert those FLVs!' after which an MS-DOS-window popped up. Can someone please help me find that very software??

i'm downloading fonts from this site
when i download it, it says that it is a .zip file/ WinZip file
but everytime i copy paste that file in my Font folder along with my other fonts, it says it can't be transferred since it is either : invalid or damaged

can somebody please help me here? how can i download fonts without encountering these problems?

note: my other fonts are truetype fonts
