What do I enter in Excel if I want the cell to autopopulate the date for the last working day? So say today is Monday and if I want today's date to show up, I will type =today(). But if I want Friday's date to show up, what formula do I need to enter in the cell? Thanks!

I want the formula to be constant. So if I opened the spreadsheet tomorrow it should automatically be able to calculate the date for today. So today()-3 will not work. I don't want to change the formula everyday.

=WORKDAY(TODAY(),-1)

You will need to add the Analysis ToolPak add-in if you get a #NAME error
