the only thing with winamp was the way that i didnt monitor any folders for new songs. And another question, does ITunes monitor what you are doing, and does it use as much computer resources as WMP does?

I use Musicmatch Jukebox. It can be downloaded free online. It's really easy to use and has great features and sound.

Honestly the new Windows Media Player 10 is an excellent media player, but if you're not into the WMP then you could use Apple's Itunes it's fairly decent as well and both come with searchable online databases (Apple store, and URGE respectively)
