My computer has started playing up and I can't access programs or connect to the internet. It won't even shutdown I have to press the button etc.
I also get this message "0X10001C11-memory could not be read"

Have I deleted an important file by mistake. Is there any software which can find key missing components of my XP system?

Is it a virus?

I got the beta from a torrent and im trying to burn it using a DVD+R, but it wont let me. Should I use DVD-R. The file name is "Leopard_preview_singleDVDR.iso" if you can make any sense of it.

Who has real experience?

If win32 does not do this: isn't this a real must-have feature?

Forget the bios. Some machines boot once a year. And this job is probably too complex for the bios. There are tons of different drive types out.

when i boot my computer and reach my desktop ,system continously open internet explorer( 40 times ), without opening it ?
i want know how its happening ? when change the path of the explorer everything is fine..!!!!!.
path shown on the explorer is c:\windows\temp\2180640.htm

Have never owned a Mac, but am interested in them because of some comments made about viruses. Is it true that Mac users do not have the virus problems we Windows users have? Also, how about spyware. And finally, what programs for word processing and spreadsheets to Mac users have, and are there compatibility issues say, if I import a document created on my work machine in a windows office program to use or manipulate in a Mac? there are programs i don't use that always are on my start up menu, things like photoshop ,etc. i rarely use them yet they are ion my start up all the time.how do i get them off?

Everytime i try to watch videos fo anysort on my comp, the cpu maxes out (100%), and I have to end that program to do anything. when i end that program, be it WMP or a IE/FIrefox window trying to play video everything goes back to normal. I have a NVIDA graphics card, with the latest updates, but that does not seem to help, and I have reloaded WMP a well, to no avail.
