for specialized browsing i like niche browser, I also like Firefox.

Mostly, I use Mozilla. Not Mozilla Foxfire or the other one, but the Full version. Though, for most people, the Firefox is a sound browser and very user friendly.
IE is the least safest of all the browsers (as it is made by MS), and is not very user friendly. EX: if you use the View and try to change the Text size, it will work only that first time. If you don't put it back to normal, the next time you open IE, you will not be able to change the text size. With IE, the only way to change the text size consistently is to use the Options menu and set the size that way.... very time consuming.
Netscape is OK. It is based on Mozilla, but with a lot of AOL spyware and junk added to it.
Opera is supposed to be really good, but it does cost to have it.
You have to decide which browser you like best. You can always download each browser and try them each for a week. The one you decide to keep will serve you well. Just delete the others when you chose to free up some space on your HDD.
A SIDE NOTE: Most browsers now come with Tab browsing. Even Intenet Explorer. Some are just a bit better to use... again, IE is a bit behind tab browsing, but it does have different ways to view each tab.
