sounds like you need codecs check http://www.softpedia.com/progDownload/ACE-Mega-CoDecS-Pack-Download-6778.html they have every codec compaled into 1 install file. i have it and it plays anything (and i dl all sorts of stuff:P)

Windows Media Player is not the best in the world. Try downloading Quicktime - it is free and provides a much better interface. Just type quicktime in the search bar and follow the links from there. I believe it is an Apple Mac product.

man, pay attention to this.... WMP keeps on asking you to install codecs and drivers so it can play the files you want..... with Quicktime you can play any files you want.... you can get it when you install iTunes, just log on to www.apple.com/itunes ... when you install it will come with Quicktime.
and finally, forget about Microsoft man.... switch to Mac as soon as you can.
