How do I download MAME? I don't know all the steps to making the download work so please help me!?

Hint MAME can be a drive HOG! I have a external harddrive for my MAME program and files and sugguest it for others also, and I can take it with me to others houses or shhhhhhhhh (WORK).
Once you download the source code unzip it to a file named MAME or MAMEPLUS. It will unzip about 38 to 46 folders and files in that directory.
When you download roms place them in the roms folder in the ziped format. The mame program will use the game in the ziped format only.

REMEMBER ALSO:
Some games need BIOS and CHD files (placed in the roms folder) to operate. I also recommend to get the art work and bezzles (Placed in their own folders). Some games also have sound files to fix or add sounds to games with curropt sound files.
