i have a pc which i thought had a genuine copy of windows xp on it until i tried to install media player 11, the person who made it is out of business. Does anyone know a way around this fake thing without having to buy another xp disk? i feel begrudged to pay for it twice.

lets say that in page 2 i write the title-- "sub tropical storms" , and i want it to stay there without moving down or up
later on i go to page one, and write something, going a line down..
this makes the title i wrote in page 2 to go one line down two, and i dont want it to happen.

Here's the deal, On this pc we are running 98, I've got a xp disk at home and was wondering if i can just install xp over 98 , without losing anything?
I'll make a back up disk and what not, I just don't want to have to uninstall 98, and then install xp. I shouldn't have any problems... Right?

I want to know if there is any way i can move programs from my C drive to my D drive?
Ex: Lets say I have adobe photoshop 7 on my C drive, and I wanted to move it to my D drive what would be the easiest way to go about doing that?
since i have a lot more space on the D drive, than on drive C,
I want to move some of the programs.

i recently had Halo, i couldn't play it on my Pc and am using an intel 910/ 915 GL chipset graphics card with 128mb of RAM. But a friend could play it using an invidia with 64mb graphics card. so is there a software that i could use to compliment my graphics card in order to play the the game, if yes, its name and how to get it should be provided please.

I restored my system recover back to Sept. 1, 2006. Everything was fine on Sept. 1. However, when it reload the desk top icons did not show up. I am not able to get into my files from my desk top. I have to enter my computer and files through the error message that pops up and ask me rather or not I want to send this error message to Microsoft. Can someone please help me.
