You will not be able to cut and paste Photoshop to your D drive. There are some simple programs that can be moved this way, but Photoshop isn't one of them.
Photoshop, like many other programs, performs it's installation with inserts to the Registry. These entries refer items such as working cache, palettes and default values.
If you want to try to cut and paste you can do that. but you will then need to use 'Regedit' to edit your registry to change all of your "c:" references for Photoshop to "d:".
If you are not comfortable with Regedit, I would suggest you avoid it as it can be fatal to your OS if you make mistakes.
You may want reinstall Photoshop. Move all of your work (.psd's) and once you are comfortable with it working, uninstall from c:.
Good Luck & Be Safe.

I'm not sure if this would work but if you copy and paste the whole folder but make sure to copy all hidden files. Assuming you have windows Xp this is how you can enable hidden files and folders. I have never tried this but its worth a shot, if you lost the installation file/cd.
Close all programs so that you are at your desktop.
Double-click on the My Computer icon.
Select the Tools menu and click Folder Options.
After the new window appears select the View tab.
Put a checkmark in the checkbox labeled Display the contents of system folders.
Under the Hidden files and folders section select the radio button labeled Show hidden files and folders.
Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide file extensions for known file types.
Remove the checkmark from the checkbox labeled Hide protected operating system files.
Press the Apply button and then the OK button and shutdown My Computer.
Now your computer is configured to show all hidden files.

You can just Copy+paste, but this will not work for MicrosoftOffice for instance or some other complex programs (reinstall only), allthow for Photoshop it will be OK. Another way - use PartitionMagic to resize your drives (C: D:) ... and there will be no need to move programs:) goodLuck

the safest way of doing this is to remove the program and reinstall it this time choosing drive d. suggest creating a folder in d called my programs or something like that so they don't sit right on the top level of the D drive.

If you are talking about files, they can be easily moved across drives. But applications like Photoshop, cant be moved like that. First un-install them, then re-install them in different drive.

If you moved them (copy-past) usualy they wont work
you can uninstall them from C and reinstall tem on D
but If you have 2 GB free on C you don't have to do any thing for now and when you want to install another one put it on D
