Two days back when i was working in my computer there was sudden power failure.Ever since whenever i logged on to my computer i get an error message in my system tray that :wndows/win.ini is corrupt or unreadable.Please run the chkdsk utility.Whenever i start any program or any browser i get the very same message.but this does not affect the proper functioning of the program.Please tell me what should i have to do to stop getting the message?

i have a photo which is a "microsoft office document image" which is 11mb in size... this picture is a ordinary picture of myself taken for passport purposes but the size is unusually big ie 11mb!!! --I want to convert it or make it small in size like a jpeg image so that i can send across as attachment...how do i go about?

My question is about adding individual users to your "sign on" page for windows xp. You know how each person in your household can sign onto windows with their own name and password to have their own programs and mail and faves, etc... My question is does this take up extra space on your computer? If so is it alot or very little to notice. I was going to do this with my husband and I but he thinks it will take up more space and slow our computer down.

I have the Microsoft Outlook email, so I moved my sbcglobal email too it, so the email comes there. It worked once, and now I can't get it too send or recieve any of my mail. I have tried sending some, it didn't work. I also had my mom email me. I didn't work either. So I guess my real question is how can I fix my email? Thanks!

I am currently taking a course on Microsoft Access 2003. However, the (used) book I purchased at the campus bookstore does not have the software with it. I have searched the Microsoft Office website, but all of the links saying "get the trial version" keep taking me in a circle.
