There is only the old version of Microsoft Money in the UK (2005) and Quicken seem to have deserted us. Please help. I really need the software!

I saved my pictures to CD and DVD disc and quick erased them using Sonic DigitalMedia Plus v7. I apparently forgot to transfer some of the pics once I reformatted by hard drive

i already have sony ericsson software installed from my last phone but it doesnt work with the k800i.. but when i try to install the new software it wont do it i get as far as selecting a language and nothing else happens! can anybody help please?

Why on earth should a program that only decodes and displays .PDF files run to 96.6 megabytes of programming?
When I started in computing disk space was at a premium and programs were written as economically as possible.
I had MSDos 3 (operating system), Wordstar (text word processor), Multiplan (spreadsheet) and DBase II (database) together with all my data files on one 720kb floppy disk with room to spare. We didn't even have hard discs in our computers.
Those were the days when programmers knew their stuff.
Any comments from other oldies?

I have a file in PDF format. Some of the pages have images. I would like to add some notes to the images. More like hand writing, but electronically. Is this possible, or do I have to first convert to word?
You know how in word, you can add note box anywhere in the document. Can I do this is PDF (I have PDF 6.0)?.

I am very proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint. I have been using it for over 10 years on a daily basis. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with a procedure for actually 'embedding; a sound into the file; instead of 'linking' which is the default nature of the program.

I do not want to have to send the file with the presentation to the client. I want it to be packaged all in one in the actual PowerPoint file. Any suggestions?
