i heard you dont need to burn iso into disc with this, can it run games, dvd and software or what does it run?

yeah. Daemon Tools can be used to run games without CD.

The "legitimate" use of Daemon Tool was supposed to be, you create an ISO files (or any CD image Daemon Supports, it supports many) for a game you have, and you run the games without CD to avoid damaging the CD, or you simply dislike having CD on the tray, or playing them on computer that doesn't have CD Drive, perhaps.

But, as we all know, almost nobody uses Daemon Tools that way. Most people don't make their own ISOs, they download them off the internet, to avoid the hefty price tags given by game developers, FYI: the best source for such ISOs happens to be Bittorrent.

Daemon tools is a combination of decrypter/ iso image creator/ virtual drive emulator. Wow, that's a mouthful. You can decrypt a CD game and then create a iso image of the CD. Next, save that iso image on to your hard drive. Finally, Daemon tools can mount the iso image and play it as if the original CD was in the drive (i.e. virtual drive emulation).
