I am very proficient with Microsoft PowerPoint. I have been using it for over 10 years on a daily basis. I was wondering if anyone is familiar with a procedure for actually 'embedding; a sound into the file; instead of 'linking' which is the default nature of the program.

I do not want to have to send the file with the presentation to the client. I want it to be packaged all in one in the actual PowerPoint file. Any suggestions?

PowerPoint can embed video that is in Windows Media or AVI format. If you need to insert a video in Real or
Quicktime format, you will need to link it to play in it’s own player. Embedding is preferred since the video will
play right inside the presentation, while linking is also very usable.
To embed a video in PowerPoint, click Insert, Movies and Sounds, Movie from File. Browse to the location
of the video and click Ok. Decide whether you want the movie to start automatically or when it is clicked. You
can change this setting by working with the custom animation settings in PowerPoint. Feel free to move the
video around the slide by clicking in the middle and dragging the video to the spot you’d like it to be. You can
also resize the video by dragging from one of the corners. Be careful not to stretch the video too large or it
may look grainy
After this pack and go and with the next step dont select link to file

Insert the sound file and get it to play the sound file automatically (a dialog box will appear)
