I met with some technical difficulties in my word document. I copied some datas from a website and paste it in my word document, somehow, a paragraph mark appeared and I coundn't remove it. Also, the words in each paragraph are connected together with a hyphen. What's wrong?

Is it possible to transfer songs from my ipod to my computer? If so how? I had songs on my computer which i transfered to the ipod. But now i dont have them anymore on the PC, and if i try to put new songs in using iTunes, it will delete the old songs which are not on my computer anymore. Therefore is it possible to save the songs i have on my ipod on my PC and then transfer all the songs i have.

I use Thunderbird on both PC and Mac. I have basically zero qualms with the PC version, but I hide my dock on my Mac and the Thunderbird just doesn't cut it. I'm sure there's an extension that does something, but I Googled and came up with nothing. I know Firefox has a little notification thing, but that doesn't do it for me either.

I have an iBook and a PC that I've built myself. In Windows, both Trillian and Miranda IM allow nested groups (meaning, groups within groups -- like sub-directories, or sub-folders). I have so many contacts (250-something), that I find it hard to find who I am looking for without nested groups.

I have a Dell laptop running Windows Media Center 2004. There are so many programs that start every time I boot up, and I'd like to disable many of them but I can't figure out the best way to do it. I thought you could type something like "system.ini" in the Run window but that doesn't work.

Why I was out of town I let one of my good friends for 2 years stay at my house and take care of my mom b/c she has cancer and when I came back I found out he found checks in my moms room that were blank and wrote them out to total $16,000 and stole my mom and dads social security cards and my bank statements, I was told why I was gone he was on my computer alot so i looked in my history and found the sites he went to and found some of his username and passwords and used them I know he dosent talk on the phone but always talks on myspace and I saw he visited it alot, I know his email on there but cant get his password, I was wondering if there was any hidden feature in xp like a key logger etc. that I can see what he typed, I know some about computers but not alot, I turned the info. over to the authorities but they said it could be up to 6 wks. till they get to it, he has 4 warrants now but he could possibly skip town before the time they get to him, sorry for typing alot but plz help

I have a presario 6410nx desk top pc that may have a bad hard drive. I would like to try and delet my hard drive and try to reformat from my system recovery disks I purchased from HP. I would like to know how to go about deleting my hard drive? I have opperating system Windows XP Home Edition.
