Is it possible to transfer songs from my ipod to my computer? If so how? I had songs on my computer which i transfered to the ipod. But now i dont have them anymore on the PC, and if i try to put new songs in using iTunes, it will delete the old songs which are not on my computer anymore. Therefore is it possible to save the songs i have on my ipod on my PC and then transfer all the songs i have.

Your problem is solved. You can always use iDUMP, a software that allows you to transfer your songs of your iPod to a PC. Connect your iPod and run iDump and you'll have access to all your songs, select the songs you want to transfer then pick a destination directory and how you would like your songs to be named. And then sit back and transfer all the selected songs to the PC. After that you can already add them in your music library in iTunes. It is easy to use. =)

The good news is iDump is FREE! Here is the link where you can download the software.

Search on google for a free program called Pod Util. Its a free prgram that allows you to take songs off the ipod and stick them in a prefered folder namely the My Music/iTunes Music folder. It has a layout very similar to iTunes and is extremely usefull if you lose your music or if you have taken music from another computer. Good luk and hope this has served a good and easy solution.

Not with iTunes it's not. There are other programs like iPodRip that will do it or better yet buy Anapod Explorer (about $30/£18) which lets you do it and is far easier to use.
