no big problem just annoyin x'ing it out everytime i log in, if it matters its windows xp

When I turn on computer it says windows cannot start because the following file is missing or corrupt.
\Windows/System32\Congig\System
It also says SMART Failure Predicted on Hard Disk 0: WDC WD30 7AA-(PM)
Can I repair this by putting in my recovery disk? After that do I need to reinstall Windows XP because my recovery disk is not WIndows XP. I think it was WIndows 98.

When you have a lot of things to put in a cell using tables in MS Word, the cell or row perhaps just expands and even hides the other words that you type in (if it doesn't fit the screen anymore). In order for you to cut and make your data be visible, I am cutting and pasting it manually. Any help please. Thank you.

When I double clicke a local disk, the local disk won't open. The only possible way to open the local disk is by right clicking it then clicking the "open.. im a running a windows xp.. everytime i double click the C or D yhis message appears Can not find script file "C:\FS6519.dll.vbs".

upon buying an 850 dollar computer from circuitcity, i thought it was brand new. i thought maby just maby there was a 20 percecnt chance some 1 used this b/c the foil (protection) in which the tower was protected was slightly damaged. from day 1 i had problems with a1720n pc from cc. constant restarts i only installed spyware removal programs and it would restart when ever i loaded anyting. (watch videos, play games, or load any apps or create new user acc for windows) i returned it a week later i yelled at the ppl they were very kind and gave me an exchange new pc w/o charge. i brong it back home and holy cow. when i opened it up i realize those bastard gave me an open box pc when i bought full price for a new one. this 2nd one they gave me was totaly diffrent

1. the boxing was diffrent the 1st one was damage
2. the dvd drive opened the 1st one didn't
3. towers on this new one had expansions
4. there was a setup when i started b4 there was none.

can cc do that? sell u a openb

what buttons do you press to see your laptop desktop on a pc monitor once your connected i think its f5 and ctrl but im not sure. I connected my laptop to the monitor i just need to know how i can see my laptop display on the monitor because the monitor is blank.

Ok so i went to eDonkey.com because someone suggested it on an answers question someone else asked and so i could download a plugin for Photoshop CS2 and when i went there it said stuff about it is illegal to download music, videos, etc. and this site has been shut down from the RIAA, and so near the bottom it said my ip address was some numbers (i forgot) and then it said it has been logged. Does that mean they are going to sue me now? Even though i didn't download anything? Thanks!

P.S. I've never even heard of the website or even what it is until i went there. SO they can't sue me for not downloading anything, i was even attempting to steal anything. Thanks.

I have windows xp and when i go to try to boot it up it starts to load and then a blue screen pops up but goes by to fast to read and then the computer turns off and then restarts. This process repaeats itself until i stop it. I was wondering what was wrong and what do i do to fix the problem my self. Do i have to reinstall windows xp?--but then how do i uninstall the previsous version?

Im using a crappy XP with 18GB of space, yes only 18GB and a crappy 82810E discontinued chipset for graphics, thank god Im finally using dsl, but Roadrunner lite isnt a huge step up from dial-up. Anyone else feel like sharing the specs and stories of their crappy computers? I just had to let this out, as being a huge video game and computer nerd, having the crappiest computer on the planet bugs the hell out of me.
