How can i make a video clip smaller? i don't want to cut it but will do if thats the only option (but you're going to show me how).

my video (VOB - opens with VLC) is about 1 gig. i need it to be <700 MB to make it fit on a CD. how do I do that?

Anyone have any ideas about the following error that pops up when I try to 'wake' the system up after I put it in 'Stand By' mode?


Windows - System Error
Insufficient system resourses exist to complete API.


When I hit the OK button on the error message, the error message disappears and the system seems to work fine. I'm guessing it has to do with the system trying to go into 'Stand By' mode.

when you log on to dial-up internet and it tells you connected at ____bpms what does it stand for? Does it run faster or slower if the number is higher?

I have to email a ton of documents to my lawyer and every time I do this I have to find each document and attach them one at a time. Many times I have to send more than one email because there isn't enough room. Is there any way to scan them and put them all in one folder and attach that one folder to my email?

I can't get any music to show up or load. It is just a big white space. I right click on it and it says adobe movie not loaded. I have the latest version of adobe. Is the music running through adobe? Does anyone know how to get it to work? Thanks for any info...

I downloaded IE 7.0 once, didn't like it, so returned to the older version. Now I'm getting notices for something called Windows Genuine Advantage Notification tool. Is this something required, and can I download it without upgrading to IE 7.0? Thanks

i have a great LCD screen over a gig processor and 640 physical memory.
i can watch 720 videos but they are really choppy.
do i need a better video card? memory? processor? i dont really understand what i can do to get the best video quality i can out of my system.

I have done the following Tools - Internet Options - Delete History.
I have also run a Windows Registry Repair programme to repair all errors.
It has crashed five times today and I am ready to put my fist through the monitor.
I had it repaired a few months ago when the same thing happened by a friend of my father's.
I bought my computer from PC World nearly two years ago, do they do repairs?
How much would it cost to repair this type of problem?

I have a Dell computer, and somehow my computer changed to where the screen on the right and left both have these long black strips and so it makes the screen a lot smaller, does anyone have any idea how to make my screen a full screen again? Pop ups as in the kind you get in greeting cards and books, not the annoying internet ads. I found one site called RobertSabuda.com, does anyone know any others like it? One that gives an online guide of how to make the pop up.

I usually have them come up atleast once per day and it's really annoying because it shuts down every application i have open. it is a box that comes up and says error report then two boxes saying send error report or dont send. Does anybody else have this problem, if so what causes it and how do i get rid of it?

When I try to open certain programs i.e. mcafee internet security and others it wont open. When I try to uninstall them it wont let me and when i try to do a system restore it wont open that either. So i just wondered wot to do.
