I've have one old account for about 4 years, now i'd like to open another one to sell a different range of goods, i dont want them to be linked when users click on 'view sellers other items'.
So if i can do this would my rating go down to 0 for the new account?

I could be sitting at my desk, and it will just start making a ticking noise. Or I could be using my computer, and it will start making the noise. It's not a constant tick, it varies in time - like it will tick for 1 minute or 5 minutes. It's very annoying to listen to. I joked with my hubby the other night and told him I thought someone had installed a remote controlled bomb in it...cuz' thats pretty much what it sounds like. Might as well drip water on my forehead for an hour! Thanks for any help!

My hotmail got hacked into, and everyone has said that gmail is better.
If it is, how do you get one? I tried the mobile thing, but it won't send me anything back because I live in the Uk.
And I really don't like yahoo. So gmail seems the best option.

Today while I was playing a game online, I froze on three seperate occassions, play was painfully slow before the big freeze. Exiting the site took forever...and getting back in took 7-8 mins on all three occassions...this happened to me yesterday and the day before as well....surely it cannot be my server causing the problems as I play at different times of the day with the same result.....When I go to a new room on the online game, it takes that long....that someone else is there and half way through a game.....What is happenening?

I have done a defrag.....We have EZ anti virus, which I think covers antispy ware..will check on that...and try another one...My kids have limewire on here and I blame that..but I am completely computer illiterate...could it be with limewire, others are downloading stuff off on my computer?

I have DVD's downloaded to my computer and I'm having trouble burning them to a DVD. I've created chapter lists, and even a title page! But for some reason every project keeps failing! Is it an issue with DVD+ or DVD-?? If so, what's the difference between the two, and how do I determine which one my drive utilizes? If not, what else could it be?! HELP!!!

example....2896 MB's required to perform this operation. Only 1356 MB's available in file...C/Presario/Owner/Local/Temp... This is just an example, but does it mean that I need more memory? I've deleted just about everything I cannot and do not use. Only lets me burn one file, and no more. If I store it on a flash drive and try to download from that, will it work? Thanks.

XP Home is upgrade install from WIN98SE. Several user accounts were created, and initially (4-6 weeks) all could access the internet. Now only the guest account can do so, which makes updating windows etc a real pain. Internet access is via broaband D-Link G604T router, and MS IE6.1. Other computers can use the router/modem without problems.
What have I done wrong, and/or would a "clean" install of XP be recommended?

I have recently tried installing internet explorer 7 but it failed for some random reason. Ever since, I have been unable to click favourites on the menu bar at the top, i.e. in between View and Tools.

I can get to the favourites via the links button to the right of the address bar and the favourites icon near home and refresh and stuff.

I wouldn't complain but its how I always get to my favs... plus when I do click it... that error comes up... you know the one when it says 'Send error report' and 'don't send' then whatever button I press... the window closes.

Any help?

My desktop connects to the internet with a DSL from Verizon.My laptop connects with a wireless card which connects to the internet with my DSL router.Is paying more money for more speed the only way to get faster internet connection?

My daughter was online the other day under my AIM screen name talking to her cousin along with her friend who was over. Today my husband just called me from work telling me that either my daughter or her friend said some obsene and bad things to her. What I need help with is where do I look in my computer to find that convo? I went into my AIM preferences and there is no archives button to direct me to where the IM convo would be. Could someone please help me resolve this? Would it be in my history or in archives? I've looked and can't seem to find anything. Where would I look for this conversation from AIM messenger?

Earlier today the power went out for about 2 seconds. It was long enough for my computer to shut down and when I turned it back on the internet would not work. All the other computers in the apartment still have working internet. It has to be a problem with the computer because I've hooked my ethernet cord up to a laptop and the internet worked fine. I've attempted to reset the cable modem, the router, and the computer with no luck. I've also tried repairing the connection and it says that it cant renew the IP address. Can anyone please help me? If you need anymore information post an answer and I'll edit my question. Thanks alot

I have ADSL 24 MB and i want to download stuff from internet. i use bitcomet. i cant connet to the internet without my router..why is that? the max speed i can get is around 100 Kb i have been port forwarding too..i would like to know if there is a way connecting to the internet without a router.
